Who We Are
Carversville Farm Foundation (CFF) is a 501© (3) non-profit organization that operates a diversified, regenerative, 350 acre certified organic farm. We grow produce, pasture-raise eggs and meat to the highest standards. We donate all our harvests to Philadelphia-area community kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, and hospitals. In 2024 we donated 223,000 pounds of produce, more than 760,000eggs and 70,000 pounds of pastured meats. We work closely with each of our 18 partners. We plant what they need most, harvest and pack to order, and deliver directly to our partners—free of charge.
Position Summary
The Digital Communications Specialist develops, designs, and executes CFF’s communications and marketing initiatives, including social media, website content and design, email marketing, multi-media digital content, event, volunteer and fundraising efforts. This is a full-time, salaried hybrid position that requires 2+ days a week in person at our Mechanicsville location.
Essential Functions

● Support all day-to-day digital communications initiatives.
● Update and maintain content and manage basic web designand functionality of our website.
● Write, proofread, and edit content for website, socialmedia, and other publications with an eye for style and marketing appeal.
● Manage email lists and design, write edit and coordinateemail campaigns, surveys, event invitations and other emails.
● Manage content on our social media accounts, design, createand share regular posts, including reels. Follow evolving best practices andtrack metrics.
● Create and manage multi-media formats (photography, video,etc.) to support communications efforts.
● Support public relations and outreach efforts, includingwriting press releases and promoting events in community papers, sites, andcalendars.
● Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
● Education: Bachelor’s degree
● Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in successful communications and marketing program development. Proficiency in Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Office, Google and adobe programs, major social media platforms, email and other related software.
Preferred Education and Experience
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related degree.
● Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience in successful communications and marketing program development. Proficiency in Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Office, Google, Adobe and VolunteerHub programs, major social media platforms, email and other related software.
